Rear View (projects) fundraising campaign to raise Canadian Tire $ for installation supplies. 

What is Rear View (projects)?!

Rear View Curatorial Collective mobilizes the constituents art, place and audience through the employment of unconventional platforms.

First and foremost, Rear View is a method of working that is driven by inquiry. Our foundational questions are: Outside the gallery milieu, how can art, place and audience be differently mobilized? Second, how can prescribed and overlooked spaces be more dynamically conceived of? Rear View (projects) is tied to space and place but not a space or a place.

Rear View (projects) is a hybrid research and presentation platform for artists/architects/designers where the categories of public and private space, and intended purpose are collapsed. Rear View (projects) fosters a direct relationship with its audience by existing in the commonplace. 

Who?

Jennifer Davis, an architecture practioner and Su-Ying Lee a curator of contemporary art.

Where did the acronym C.R.E.A.M. come from?

We will take the old Canadian Tire Money     you have been shoving into the back of your junk drawer and transform it into installation supplies for our upcoming projects. We won't reveal what those are right now.
